Cookie policy

Last updated in November 2026. Which cookies and similar storage this website uses, what for, for how long, and how to change your choice.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Similar techniques, such as localStorage, work the same way: the site stores something on your device and reads it back later. In this policy we call all of these cookies.

2. Which types we use

  • Necessary: needed to make the site work and to remember your cookie choice and language choice. We do not ask for consent for these.
  • Statistics: Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager. Shows us which pages are visited and how visitors use the site.
  • Marketing: Meta Pixel. Measures whether visitors reach us through our ads on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Functional: for extra features that remember something about your visit. The site does not use any at the moment.

Statistics, marketing and functional cookies are off by default. They only load after you give consent, and only for the types you tick.

The retention periods of Google and Meta are the default periods according to the documentation of those services. We load videos from YouTube or Vimeo via youtube-nocookie.com or player.vimeo.com. As soon as a player loads, those platforms may use their own cookies or storage under their own policies.

4. Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. If you withdraw your consent, we stop measuring from that moment on. Cookies that Google or Meta have already placed in your browser cannot be removed by us on your behalf. You can do that in your browser settings.

5. Your rights

How we handle your personal data and what rights you have is explained in the privacy policy. Send questions or requests to info@bdsproductions.be. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, dataprotectionauthority.be.

6. Changes

If a new service or type of cookie is added, we update this policy and ask for your choice again. The date of the last change is at the top.
